finally done with Twenties Girl

Finally, I have finished reading this book yesterday. Hahaha. I bought the book last year, but I started to read it on March this year after a novel by Cecilia Ahern. What took me so long? Hehe. Because I only read it when I was free in school. Little by little... and done! Great story! Worth my RM 79.90.

What this book is about? It is about a twenty-something girl Lara Lington who gets visited by a spirit of her great-aunt Sadie. The spirit came into her life when she was attending the funeral of her 105 years old great-aunt. Her great-aunt Sadie has one last request before she can proceed to another world - Lara must find her missing necklace. The necklace is very special to Sadie because it had been in Sadie possession for more than seventy-five years. The journey of Lara and Sadie make a hilarious sparring duo as the mission to find the necklace leads Lara to a new romance. At the beginning, Lara hates to have Sadie in her life. Imagine that other people perspectives when they saw you talking to the air. Haha. That's happened to Lara. But as everything goes day by day, Lara gets along really well with Sadie and Sadie helped her a lot with her company, and made Lara dumped her stupid ex-boyfriend, Josh. At the end, Lara found out the person who was responsible to the lost of Sadie's necklace and sold the old painting of Sadie to the London Potraits Gallery that worth millions nowdays. Another great storyline by Sophie Kinsella.

p/s: I dropped a couple of tears when Lara was about to put the necklace back to her great-aunt Sadie's remains. Powerful bonds of friendship between both of them eventhough they are "twenties" girl came from different set of time.. (melelah air mata kat bilik guru dan kelas. sedih mengenangkan perpisahan mereka. hehe..)
